slides to help Ss to review the vocabulary of toys from the
last lesson again.

5 minutes. GAME 1: THE BIG WHEEL

Textbook, - T divides class into 2 groups to play game “THE BIG

- Let the groups take turns to spin the wheel to see the
powerpoint number of points that they will get for their correct answer.
Then choose a number to answer the question.
- If Ss choose a lucky question, they will get the point that
they have spun without answering any questions. They
can miss a turn if they choose an unlucky question.
- After getting the answers from the Ss, T shows the
answers on the slide and counts the points for the groups.
- At the end of the game, the group with more points is the
winner.
4 minutes. GAME 2: Magic box

by one) and ask Ss “What is it?”, wait for Ss' answers and
help them correct pronunciation when necessary.
- Play the CD the first time for Ss to listen and repeat.
- Play the CD again for Ss to listen and match. T may play
the CD of question 1 first for Ss to listen and repeat, then
instruct them to draw a line from picture one to the answer
(puppet). Then, play the CD of question 2 and 3 for Ss to
listen and match themselves.
- Show the answers and ask Ss to read them again.

5 minutes GAME 1: “Let's go fishing”
- Follow T's
powerpoint - Teacher divides class into 2 groups to play game: “Let's instructions
go fishing”
- Play the
game
- Each group will take turn to choose the fish.
- After Ss choose a fish, they will have to answer the
question that follows by making a sentence using “I have
a…(toy)…”
- T waits for SS' answer and helps him/her correct it when
necessary. Ss will get 10 points if they answer correctly.
- The group with more points at the end will win the game.
4 minutes Game 2: Miming game
- Follow T's
instructions
powerpoint - T divides the class into 2 groups then calls one member
of each group to stand in front of the class.
- Play the

- T whispers a word to the two Ss.
- The two Ss have to use their body language to
demonstrate for others of their groups to guess the toys'
name.
