following slide and asks one Ss points to a picture, the
other reads aloud that word, then exchange.
GAME 1: “What is missing"
- Listen to T's
- Divide the class into 2 groups. Have the groups observe instruction
5 pictures of numbers on the screen.
- Play the
game
- Say “Sleep” (all students close their eyes). When the
teacher clicks any number on TV, there will be a hidden
picture. Say “Wake up” (all students open their eyes).
The teacher requests the groups to give the name of the
hidden picture. The group which has the correct and
quicker answer gets one star. The group which has more
stars at the end will be the winner.
GAME 2: Matching game
- T writes down all the new words on the board, then

Game 3: “Flappy Bird “
- Listen to T's

- Divide class into 2 teams, name them “yellow” or
“pink”. Ask Ss to choose a number to get a question and - Play the

winner. The rules of the game can be found on the slide.
Game 4: “Apple pass” (Optional)
- Listen to T's
- Have all Ss sit in a circle. Use a fake apple (or a doll, a instruction
ball etc.) and toss it to one S. But you must say one

English word of toys that you have taught your Ss as you game
pass. The S then throws to another S and says a different
English word of toys (from lesson 1 and lesson 4). Ss
can say the words that weren't taught by you but they
know (eg: robot, car, puzzle etc.)
- If the student you threw it to drops it, or has no/wrong
answer, he/she is out. And the game keeps going until
you have one winner.
Game: “Slap the board”
- Listen to T's

- Divide the class into 2 teams to practice the sound /d/;
/m/ and /s/ by playing the game "Slap the board"
- Play the
game
- Stick the word cards of /d/; /m/ and /s/ on the board
and have students read aloud those sounds before playing
game.
- In each turn, T calls from each team 1 student to play
the game. The players make a line and look at the
flashcards on the board.
- Teacher show the flashcards/pictures of the word
“dance”, “doll”, “Mexico”, “music”, “scooter”, “seven”
one by one for the class to read the words aloud. When
hearing the words, the players have to slap on the correct
sounds; for example: when the class says “doll", Ss will
have to slap on sound /d/.
- The one who is faster can get 1 point for the team.
- Play several times with other students in the class.
- The group which has more points will be the winner.

Draw a grid with nine squares on the board. Have the
students copy the grid and draw a toy in each square. Call
out the names of toys. The first student to cross off all
nine squares is the winner
